Having a growth mindset

what does it mean to you?

I made a post awhile back on instagram with this growth mindset image where I talked about how I fail at many things and will continue to whether it be fitness, health, relationships, finances.

I could easily have a fixed mindset and say “oh well this is just how it will always be” , blame others and never take ownership, OR I can take those same failures and look at them through the lens of having a growth mindset and improve, learn, take a different approach.

How to develop a growth mindset and create change in an area of your life

embrace imperfections

view challenges as opportunities

value the process over the end result

not getting bogged down by setbacks

thinking realistically about the time and effort it will take

taking real ownership over the approach

like anything worth it in life a growth mindset starts in your head and comes with practice, patience and grace with yourself.

Remember that as you think of what areas in your own life are an opportunity for growth.
